A check raise I think loses alot of ❤️ value as well if you're ahead or will hurt alot more if you're behind and end up paying him off. ❤️ Remember, you only have top pair, no need to play a big pot here. I would again check the turn. ❤️ If he is pounding the pot than I would be reluctant to go crazy and just call. If his bet ❤️ is small enough compared to the pot, a check raise to take it down is something I would strongly consider. ❤️ If he checks behind on the turn, than you know you are good and hope for a safe river. If ❤️ you think he has something to call with, make a value bet, if not, check again and hope he bluffs ❤️ with nothing. But this is all a hypothetical situation.
We know nothing about the opponent other than he is aggressive. We ❤️ don't know if he is TAG or just reckless. We don't know the history between the two players. We don't ❤️ know bet sizing or reads. Is the guy steaming? Is he drunk? Did he announce this was his last round ❤️ before he had to go? An other important variable is our own table image. If I am the tightest guy ❤️ at the table, he is likely not triple barrel bluffing me but very well could if I myself am LAG. ❤️ There are too many variables in every single hand to have the right answer unless you are in the hand ❤️ yourself.
